Homeopathy Tips for 3/06/12 Fear

Fear is a big section of our Repertory. Why do you suppose that is? I think it is because our human nature tends to show our separation from G-d through this primary emotion. If we were to be in the graces of love and without ever being in fear, then we might say that there is no spiritual basis for the expression of dis-ease or suffering. But we do experience fear and no one escapes this. It is the quickest way to leave our truth and believe in the untruth or falsness of our expereince.

I have an acronym that reminds me of the truth about fear. It is F=False, E=Evidence, A=Appearing, R=Real. False Evidence Appearing Real. This really does explain fear. Fear in the Websters Dictionary is; an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by expectation or awareness of danger. Anxious concern. dread, fright, alarm, panic, terror, trepidation.

Homeopathy often uses fears as a way to help define the energy of a person and understand what is asking to be healed. It is the most common of emotions and core to our beliefs. It shows our deviation from the truth of ourselves. Our fears can be the core expression of our dis-ease. We can not be whole and in fear at the same time.

Fortunately there are many substances in nature that can create these similar fears and be used to help us heal. Understanding a persons fear will give great insight. With proper homeopathic treatment and a sustained healing from the client fear can melt away and give the person back the truth of their being.

Because fears are the most common symptom and can run a persons life, I always ask about them. They can be very insightful in understanding the persons suffering and the blocks that keep them from being all they can be. We may sometimes find ways to modify our response to our fears and they can be quite subtle but profound. One of the most common fears is speaking in public. Others are fear of the dark or of ghosts, something evil etc. Our religious orientations provide that foundations for many of our more existential fears including fear of death. It is useful to know some of the more common rubrics in our Repertory that describe some of the basic  human fears.

Here are a few rubrics and the remedies from the Complete 2005 Repertory;

It is important to study the mind section of the Repertory and especially the Fears. Become familiar with them so when your client describes a particular fear you may have previously seen this in the repertory and know to find it and possibly use this in the repertization. It becomes especially useful when the fear is very core and primary to all of their lifes experience. Help them remove the fear and many other symptoms can be healed at the same time.

    So aptly put – FEAR is indeed False Evidence Appearing Real!

    We can also make full use of the ‘Delusions’ rubrics to delve deeper into the patients fear. For example, a person fearful of crossing a road or fearful of slippery floors may have an underlying feeling better described by a rubric like ‘Delusion, body is brittle’ or ‘Delusion, body is delicate’.

    Interestingly, Sankaran developed his “Sensation” methodology out of his extensive work in using Delusion rubrics. It led him to conclude that all disease is essentially a false perception of reality and that symptoms are in fact a reaction that is out of proportion to the situation. A good measure of this reaction is the underlying delusion or fear.

    Also, if we are to use Fear rubrics effectively, we should try to find the context. Fear arising out of an experience is of less value as it is a natural response, perhaps exaggerated. Animals in the wild display little fear of travelers where man is rarely seen, but in places where man encroaches into animal habitat, the memory of violence is imprinted into the collective consciousness of the species and a fear rubric would be of lesser value.

    Thank You so Much… I have always wanted to be in the comfort zone, and fear to have success because of the implication that success may bring; such as being around people of different status and people that may differ with my personal opinion or values. However, I am different, i am Christian, and I am possitively sure that with also the help of Homeophathy and my Lord I’ll be free of fear…. Thanks and Many Blessings!

    What- no fear of spiders. I would like to see fear of spiders, not just animals. I take issue with the concept that fear is false evidence. There are fears that are justified by real evidence.

    Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (from scripture). That is the avoidance of all that is contrary to God who is within us. It is a choice of our free will which God never interferes with, it is His free gift to us. As a catholic I have experienced healing through the aid of homeopathic remedies which after unsuccessful consultations with homeopaths I had come to find the remedies I required through prayer and going back to my faith. Homeopathy is good, however lets not make the mistake of thinking it is God. Fear seems to be the last emotion to surface mixed with nausea – to repulse all that is not of God.
